Maggie Sy is a self-taught acrylic painter, interior designer, and entrepreneur working from her home studio in MetroWest Boston. She came to painting after a twenty-year corporate career, drawn by the need to make with her hands.

Her work explores memory, emotion, and the way the same world looks different depending on what we carry. Heavy layers of texture and color reward close looking as much as a view from across the room.
